Taber Abrasion Tester

Abrasion testing machine is a tester that can test abrasion for most various materials like textile, rubber, plastic, leather, glass, painting, plywood and floor brick. Abrasive tester is to use specified grinding wheel with specified load to rub the surface of specimen, and after a setup number of timer of abrasive, evaluate the following conditions of the surface after test, and ratio the endurance characteristic of abrasion for this material. The testing method of this rubber and plastic tester equipment is as below.

To prepare the specimen in disk shape diameterφ110mm, set it on the chuck rotating constantly with stable speed. Specimen drives sand wheel rotated to rub the specimen to judge the difference of weights before and after abrasion, or determine the condition of surface to know the abrasion quality of specimen.
